Julie Connolly - Director

Julie Connolly joined John Connolly & Partners in 1995. Her work has included the design of major investor relations programs, overseeing research in financial markets and advising clients on difficult issues involving the relationship between shareholders, staff and customers.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and has over 25 years’ experience in investor and stakeholder relations.

After beginning her career at one of Australia’s largest multinational companies she was appointed Investor Relations Manager for Westfield Trust, designing, launching and managing the first IR program for the newly listed trust.

She moved to become Group Investor Relations Manager for the Westfield Holdings Group, overseeing Westfield’s relationships with the global investment community.

She managed the launch of the separately listed Westfield International Inc, pioneered a range of initiatives in investor relations and managed all investor, analyst and advisor relationships and communications including annual reports, financial results presentations, group and one-on-one briefings, industry trade shows, internal communications, conferences and investor road shows.

Julie is a director of one of Australia’s largest disability service providers and is a member of the Centenary Institute Medical Research Foundation and the Sydney Boys High School Fundraising Committee.

Julie is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a member of the Australasian Investor Relations Association.
